Kate Rhett is an author from Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. She graduated with her bachelor’s in creative writing at Southern New Hampshire University in 2021. She has had two poems published in The Grackle, sponsored by the Gateway Regional Arts Center in Mt. Sterling, KY. She has attended the 2019 Kentucky Writing Workshop in Louisville, KY. She is currently working on a romance novel titled, Schooling Mr. Wright about two arts and humanities teachers that explore a budding romance while on a sponsored sabbatical by their school to Paris, France. The two have been friends for years, but when a handsome, French tour guide takes an interest in Kate, Jack begins to question his true feelings for her. Can Jack overcome his past experiences with love and take the leap for Kate? Will Kate continue to wait for Jack to take the first step, or will she take a chance on the Frenchman, Louie?
